Charming Charlie Opening at Northfield

Shoppers will soon have new fashion destination.

Charming Charlie will open Sept. 6th at the corner of 47th Avenue and Main Street in The Shops at Northfield Stapleton.

The boutique is predominantly known for one thing. “We’re filled to the brim with accessories,” said Nicole Duke, store manager for the Northfield location. “We have shoes, tops and dresses … but truthfully, our focus is our accessories.”

From necklaces to scarves, accessories are all sorted by color and range in price from $4.97 to $49.97. Charming Charlie stores even have sections for children and teenagers.

“There’s a little something for everybody and every age,” classic to over-stated, Duke said. “The fact is we have it all. It’s a finishing store.”

Charming Charlie began in Houston in 2004 and already has more than 100 stores with a plan to double that number this year, Duke said.

“The old feeling that less is more is no longer true when it comes to accessories. We’re seeing more people wear simple clothes and add more jewelry,” she said. “And you know, it’s all about the atmosphere of this place.”

Charming Charlie stores also tend to be in outdoor-mall settings such as The Shops at Northfield Stapleton.

“We do locate in a lot of outdoor-lifestyle centers for the most part,” Duke said. “We want each location to feel like a boutique store in a warehouse-size space.”
